The facilities are old, and after booking three nights I never saw anyone mowing or using a whipper snipper. When I asked about the Wednesday woodfire pizza nights, the owner or caretaker was very rude. It was advertised as a Big 4, but apparently it isn't, so there was no discount. I wouldn't stay again.

The pools were lovely and the drive-through sites were spacious, but the receptionist really made our stay. She was informative, helpful, and such a nice person. It's rare to see service like that at some van parks, especially from someone so young. She deserves a pay increase!

Two years ago this park was full, well kept and had a great feel. This visit was a big letdown. The grounds were overgrown, sites hadn't been mown, and palm fronds were scattered around. The amenities were clean, but the ladies' door had just one hinge attached, with the other two broken off, and getting there meant climbing through a jungle. Our nearby bin wasn't emptied during the four days we stayed. There were also large potholes on the entrance driveway. These are all easy things to fix and would make a real difference.

The park is quiet, and the sites are large, but the grounds need a proper tidy and the whole place needs a makeover. It's one of the most poorly maintained parks we've come across. The camp kitchen was dirty and very basic. Amenities were basic but clean. At $40 a night, there are nicer parks in Charters.

We've stayed here a few times, usually in the cabins, which are always thoroughly clean. This was our first time with a caravan. The facilities and amenities are excellent, and the service is always well above standard.
