The calm setting made this a great place for our group to train, recover, prepare, and rest. We came to Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge with coaches and fighters for the Morayfield competition, and the accommodation, food, and service all worked well for us. The meals were consistently very good, and the restaurant team and chef took especially good care of everyone. Staff throughout the lodge were friendly, professional, and accommodating. We also appreciated the quiet mountain atmosphere, the views, and the room to breathe. There isn't a long list of nearby activities, which suited us fine. It felt like a place to switch off and focus. The lodge is in the middle of renovations. That was clearly explained before arrival and signposted around the property, and the work seemed professionally managed. Any disruption we noticed was minor. Recent reviews may mention the construction, but expecting everything to be perfect during a major upgrade could mean missing what the place has to offer. We were very happy with the stay and would return without hesitation.

The restaurant and cafe have stunning views, and the rooms look out onto lovely scenery too. Ours had a huge showerhead with good water pressure, a comfortable bed, air conditioning, wifi, a TV, and a small fridge. We had a very relaxed stay. We visited on Dec 24 and Dec 25, both very hot days, so having the large pool for early morning and evening swims was a real treat. Breakfast was a delicious buffet with all the usual fare, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Stephanie’s Mountain Spa is at the Lodge and will continue operating during the renovations. The Lodge was purchased by the Peppers Resort group in 2025, with renovation work due to start in mid January 2026 and take place in several stages. I'd highly recommend the hotel, restaurant, and spa.

We loved unwinding at Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge, especially out on the private balcony, where the panoramic views of the Glass House Mountains and Moreton Bay were breathtaking. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean, and the whole stay felt like a peaceful break from the city. The staff were wonderfully welcoming, and the food at the on-site restaurant was delicious. For a romantic getaway or a quiet retreat in nature, this is a lovely choice. We can't wait to come back for another relaxing weekend.

We came here to relax and reconnect, and it was just the getaway we needed. The staff were wonderful, the views were stunning, and we couldn't find a thing to fault. Such a beautiful venue with exceptional service. We'd gladly recommend it.

The views are the real standout, stretching across South East Queensland from the Glasshouse Mountains to Brisbane and beyond. The rooms are a little outdated, but they were clean, tidy, and well maintained, with renovations planned over the coming year. From the moment I walked into reception, I got a welcoming hello. Management are doing a wonderful job, and the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, making it feel homely. They have delicious cocktails and a fresh, modern menu. I especially recommend the Pan seared chicken breast, Za Atar roasted carrots, Harissa, Crunchy Greens, gratin potato. I'd definitely stay here again.
