The Google photos don’t do this beautiful motel justice. It was clean and comfortable, and a nice place to come back to each night. We booked Monte Carlo for a youth sports trip to Townsville, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect, close to shops, sporting fields and a chemist. Everyone, from the office staff to the housekeepers, was so friendly and helpful.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and they’d provided eating utensils. There was a swimming pool too, though the weather meant we didn’t get a chance to use it. Great place to stay!

The pool was perfect after long, hot days at the netball courts. My girls and I stayed five nights for a netball event in Townsville, and the location was close to the courts and handy for lots of other amenities. The room was clean and cool, and the beds and pillows were comfy. Highly recommend.

The pool area is a nice place to relax and cool off, and the staff are consistently helpful and courteous. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with modern bathroom facilities. The layout might raise a few questions at first, but now I can see why the customer ratings are so positive.
