The drive to the Great Ocean Road was lovely, and it’s only a short trip from Heytesbury House. We stayed in the Naylor Suite, where everything was spotless and thoughtfully styled. The robes, bedding, and pillows were so comfortable, and the whole place felt elegant but still welcoming. You can tell Andrew and Kathryn have put a lot of care into every corner. Breakfast was a lovely start to the morning, especially the beautiful in-house coffee Kathryn and Andrew made. It was a peaceful, memorable stay, a very pleasant 10/10, and I’d recommend it without hesitation. Can’t wait to return.

We spent Christmas night in the Alfred suite and loved it. The decor has a traditional feel, with modern touches tucked in, even charging pads by the bed. Kathryn made a great homemade breakfast, and both owners took such good care of us that we left with full hearts as well as full bellies 🙂 This B&B near the western end of the Great Ocean Road made us feel special from beginning to end.

The shared room has books and a TV for guests. There’s plenty of on-street parking too. On New Year’s Eve, my friend and I found Heytesbury House cozy, green, and really well looked after. In the morning I walked into the kitchen with soft music playing and the clock ticking. Honestly, it felt like a movie. I also loved that we could order hot food and barista coffee, which is a real selling point.

It’s a lovely place to enjoy the countryside, lakes, volcanic hills, and sunshine, with plenty of foodie adventures between Cobden and Port Campbell, including around Timboon. The B&B itself is a real gem, though Cobden is a VERY small town and has limited places to eat out. Be ready to drive 10 minutes to a neighbouring town like Camperdown for more options.

My wife was overjoyed with the room, service, presentation, and all the romantic touches. The Alfred Suite was especially nice, great and cozy. Breakfast was wonderful too. It was one of the best surprises I’ve given her.
