Ocean Parade Motel

I’ve usually had great stays in Coffs Harbour, but this was frightening. I’d just driven 12 hours while escaping DV and needed somewhere safe. As soon as I arrived, the man started arguing with me and wouldn’t calm down. He was aggressive and abusive, and the way he spoke to a young woman was unacceptable. As a woman on my own, I didn’t feel safe there, so I left after he wouldn’t settle down. I found a wonderful motel where I feel safe tonight. Whatever his reason, speaking to a woman that way is not okay. I’m still shaken and disgusted by the customer service. One of the worst experiences of my life. This man shouldn’t be running a motel.

It’s an older place, but clean and comfortable, and the location is great. There was no washing-up liquid, and the shower pump had no gel. Sometimes it’s the small things. I’d stay again.

The staff were the kindest, most helpful ladies, and we’ll definitely return next time we’re in the area. Our room was clean, nicely presented and bigger than we expected, with a comfy bed for our one-night stay. Great location. Thank you!

The owners were fantastic, and thanks so much for letting us check in early. We only stayed one night, but the room was neat, tidy and very clean. It’s a great little business doing a great job, with the best location. We’ll definitely stay again. See you next time!
