Sanctuary Resort Motor Inn

My family and I stopped here for two nights on a road trip from Brisbane to NSW. The price really surprised me, very affordable. Our tidy room had a fridge, three beds, an AC unit, a stove and a large TV, plus sheets and pillows. The staff were polite and took care of everything we needed. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool and sauna. Highly recommend, 5 stars!

Even though the room was old, it had been renovated nicely and was very clean. It was large, almost like a studio, with a living room, kitchen and bedroom, which is why I gave it 5 stars. The staff were friendly and the restaurant had a nice view. This was our first overnight stay at Sanctuary Resort Motor Inn, and we'll come back.

We booked two rooms for a quick stop, and one was great with nothing to fault. The bedding was clean in both rooms. The larger room was where we noticed the cleanliness issues: some lounges and carpet were dirty, and the games room really needs a clean, including its floors, lounges and equipment. The pool was lovely, especially the kids’ pool, where the children enjoyed splashing about. It’s very affordable and decent for a short stopover, and I’d use it again.

The owners arranged a room at short notice when my wife and I were travelling interstate to visit family during a medical emergency, and they included our dog, of course. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are a bit dated but spotlessly clean, and the staff are all friendly. It's a neat, tidy place with plenty of parking. I'll return when I need to.
