I was travelling solo in my campervan from Brisbane to Sydney and stopped in Coffs for two nights. The unpowered site was reasonably priced, though it could perhaps be a little cheaper. The amenities were spacious and clean, and the kitchen was fantastic, much nicer than cooking at the back of my van. I’d recommend setting up at the site farther from the highway, as it’s quieter and closer to the toilets and showers. It’s also well located for visiting Coffs’ great spots.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, and we had a lovely stay at Reflections Coffs Harbour Caravan Park. It’s easy to get around and close to everything we needed. The park has a relaxed, family-friendly feel and is laid out well. We’d read about traffic noise but had no issues with it at all. A little garden maintenance would help, as there were quite a few weeds in the beds. The two grassed areas could also be put to better use, perhaps with a fenced off-leash dog area or a small children’s bike track to keep scooters and bikes off the internal roads. Food vans visiting from time to time would be a fun, convenient option, especially for families. It’s a lovely park with great potential, and we’d happily stay again.

A tidy little park in a handy spot by the river, close to the CBD and beside the showground. We had a powered slab site at a fair price compared with other parks. The amenities were modern and clean, and the grounds were well kept. The person who checked us in was really friendly, which made a difference. There was some highway traffic noise early in the evening, but it eased off by 9pm. Some complaints seem to be about cabins nearer the main road, as happens at most parks around here. That wouldn't put me off choosing a caravan site. A good little place.

The amenities were clean and pleasant to use, and the park is tidy and well maintained. It’s central too, near lovely beaches, shops and cafés. The owner has put together lots of useful information about town and local services, and there are pizza nights, pancake breakfasts and other activities. I think it’ll be a much more relaxing place once the school holidays are over. Our stay itself was a disaster. We were placed on the traffic side, just off the Pacific Highway, and in December and January the nights were never quiet, with trucks, traffic and police sirens. The flies were a serious problem and need attention. Our neighbours were three families with small children, shouting and crying through the day. The parents sat around with drinks while the children rode bikes on the road. They had two German Shepherds and a small dog that barked nonstop whenever anyone passed, starting as early as 6 a.m. For a park that hosts families, it’s hard to understand why there’s no playground, slide, swings or even a small pool where kids can play safely instead of riding on the road all day. After showers, a place to sit and get dressed would also be useful.

The amenities block deserves a mention: the toilets and showers had a hotel feel, the best I've seen in a caravan park. Staff were also so helpful and friendly, and gave us a list of pet friendly restaurants and places where our dog could explore with us. We were close to restaurants, cafés and shops, and really enjoyed our stay. At $54 a night for a powered caravan slab, we'd definitely come back. After a week at a busy, family friendly park on the Gold Coast, the quieter, small park feel here was a welcome change, even though we have an 8 year old daughter. Tall trees are everywhere, and we walked our dog by the big green lawn beside the creek. You can camp there on an unpowered site. The highway is very busy, but with the caravan air-conditioning on, the noise didn't bother us. A bypass is being built, so that issue should go away.
