There’s a lovely beach and a local shop just a very short, easy walk away. The house was clean and had good amenities, though the sound carries around, so finding a quiet spot can be difficult. It’s a bit suburban, so it won’t suit you if you’re after isolation.

Waking up to the bay from the wood fire warmed house was a highlight. It has the feel and comforts you’d expect from an upper class stay, and the views over the Hazards are there as soon as you step into the observatory. We only wish we’d booked more than a few days. Highly recommend it.
