The property is in a beautiful spot and laid out nicely, but the garden needs a proper makeover and care. The BBQ was desperately in need of attention and very dirty. The neighbours’ windows face straight into the accommodation windows, so blinds are needed day and night. Then there was the warning that we’d be charged for using too much water. The water purifier didn’t seem to be purifying anything. Inside it had about five litres of water with a few floaties and an old smell. We had to wash and put away anything we used, and take the garbage out too. What else were they expecting us to do, wash windows or mow the lawn? It felt like a total rip off for the price, and I won’t stay here again. I wish I’d checked the reviews first.

The house has everything you need and is an excellent place to stay. It’s perfectly placed for seeing freycinet np, and the deck has awesome views. Highly recommend.

The shower was good, and the house was clean, comfortable and had good amenities. The only thing we weren’t used to was the instruction not to flush used toilet paper because it’s a septic tank. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay. Depending on the season, you may be the only people around, since there are a few holiday homes in the area. That could be perfect if you’re after a quiet sanctuary.

The place was very clean, the decor was OK, and the views were great. We had a lovely couple of days in the area. But after paying more than $360 a night, the leaving instructions made it sound like we were expected to be the cleaners. Freycinet management group needs to rethink its guest relations strategy and communications.

The location delivered, and the view was great, but we were so disappointed with everything else. It’s a posh demountable with wafer thin walls, and nothing else justified the high charges. There was just one towel each for four days, uncomfortable furniture, and tacky wall hangings and nick-naks. The local bus shelter has a great view too. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
