The room was simple and basic, but comfortable and had what we needed for the night. After a 9.5-hour drive with my two little girls, it was a relief to arrive at the Railway Motel in Condobolin. I'd called ahead about our late arrival, and the staff left the keys for me at the bar, which made getting in easy. The attached pub was a highlight. Dinner was an excellent pub meal and good value, and having it delivered to the room was a godsend after such a long day with the kids. I could bathe the girls, get them into pyjamas and settle them for bed while dinner came right to the door. A really positive stay, and I'd happily come back.

The staff were a great help when I needed to leave for the 2pm train. I arrived by railway coach and found the stop was on the other side of town. The driver dropped me at the hotel, and the staff let me leave my bags in the room until it was time to go, even though they weren't opening until after the train had left. A big plus for me. I stayed two nights over the June long weekend, couldn't fault the service, and will stay again.

Had a late lunch, the chicken snitty burger was great. It's a fairly large, modern bistro attached to the motel, with a small bar and a lovely outdoor area. It's pet friendly, very tidy, and already had great Christmas decorations up.

We ate at the hotel restaurant one night, and both the steak and grilled barramundi were tasty, fresh and very good value. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped with a jug, toaster and microwave. It wasn't five-star luxury, but was very good value overall. We spent two nights at the Condo Railway hotel/motel and were comfortable, even though we were in Condo for a funeral. Would I stay again? Absolutely, without hesitation.
