The King Room was perfect, and thanks to the staff for upgrading me. The location was ideal, with lots of great places to eat in town, and I'll definitely be back. It was also nice to get an email thanking me for staying, not many places do that. 🤩

My room wasn't flash, but it was clean, and the air conditioning held up well, which matters in summer. The staff were great and really friendly. If you like old pubs with history, this place is a good fit. There's a great bakery across the road for breakfast, and the locals are friendly too.

Max was helpful and knows the town well. The location made it easy to get around and reach everything in town. We had a large workforce, and the Royal team made things work for us. The place has been newly updated while keeping its country charm. The whole team and I will be back.

I stopped in for a beer because it's one of the few places with James squire on tap. The old pub has wood panelling that brings back some of its former charm. It gets very noisy near the pokies, and the TV was much too loud, but the adjoining bar was pleasant.

It's a gem if you like somewhere simple, clean and country. The shared showers and toilets feel a bit like a 1970s bed and breakfast, but look past that and it's a retro place with plenty of charm.
