You'll need to buy a ticket for each vehicle before entering Kanku Conservation Park.

We arrived to find we had no accommodation, even though our booking had been confirmed in writing two days earlier. No one answered our calls or texts when we said we were there and needed the key code. Someone finally called me back an hour and 20 minutes later, when it suited them. We'd travelled 800 kilometres with a horse in tow, which they knew about, and couldn't afford to wait around for them to get to it. The local Police helped us get into the Caravan Park instead. This didn't feel like a trustworthy accommodation provider. I should have taken the lack of professionalism as a warning: they hadn't sent the invoice I'd requested by email when booking, and it was also difficult to get responses to calls and texts while trying to book. If you need a reliable booking and stay, I'd suggest booking somewhere else.

The caretaker was friendly and there if you needed anything. The place was clean and tidy, with a lovely view. There was a washer, dryer, and dishwasher to use, and the shower had great pressure.

It's one of the most unusual and beautiful places I've visited. There are lots of attractions along the way too, and sunrise or sunset would be the best time to visit.
