Di's Dugouts

Di communicates well and put together a nice booklet of recommendations. The location is only minutes from the sights, town, and restaurants, and we enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean, with comfortable furniture and a bed in good condition. The kitchen was equipped for either a light meal or bigger cooking, and there was clear thought and care in the decor and layout.

We slept so well in the peaceful underground rooms at Di’s Dugouts, and the whole stay in Coober Pedy was unforgettable. The accommodation is carved into rock, spacious, beautifully clean, and naturally cool all day, a real blessing in the outback heat. The beds were super-comfy, and you can see the care in the details. The kitchen and living areas had everything we needed to relax after exploring. Di sent us helpful tips about local attractions and places to eat, which made the visit even better. It’s a memorable mix of comfort and adventure.

Brilliant place, and we were lucky to stay there. The underground unit was beautifully appointed. We didn’t wake up until 8am, which is almost unheard of for us.

Di’s Dugout is a fabulous, huge property with all the amenities you need and thoughtful extra touches, including an outdoor jacuzzi. Di was a warm, friendly, and very accommodating host. Coober Pedy is amazing to explore, and I’d strongly recommend the place for couples or families. Thanks, Di.
