The people were very nice and the location is excellent, but the room was a letdown compared with the description and photos. Although the stated area was large, about half of it was taken up by the laundry, space under the stairs, entry and garage, leaving the rest pretty small. The only bathrooms were ensuites, and there was no AC in the bedrooms, so it was a bit uncomfortable overall.

Geoff, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. From booking through arrival and departure, the service was absolutely 10/10. We stayed during the school holidays, on our first visit to Coolum, and found it great for families. The location was great too, so close to the beach and shops. Highly recommend it if you’re after a one-stop holiday destination. Looking forward to coming back.

The room was clean and modern, and the lady in the office was really friendly and helpful. I also spoke with the managers a couple of times, and they were relaxed, friendly and very nice. We accidentally broke a garage key, but when we told them, they were understanding and easygoing. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

We were just a short walk from the beach, around 5-10 minutes, and went there most mornings. The pool, spa and tennis court sit in the middle of this small, boutique-style complex, which gives it a friendly community feel and seemed safe for young kids. The managers were warm and always stopped for a smile and a “how are you?” They sorted any concerns quickly, and even offered fresh linen partway through our stay. Such a lovely place to stay, thanks for a great visit!

We spent two weeks here over the school holidays and had a great time. The pool was a real highlight, and we used it a lot. Coolum Beach Getaway Resort is also very handy for the town centre and its amenities. Tracey and Jason made us feel welcome and were really friendly. A very pleasant place to stay, and easy to recommend.
