David was such a welcoming host, and breakfast had a good range of choices. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. Even on a cool autumn weekend, the guesthouse stayed at a comfortable temperature. I had a lovely visit and will definitely return. Thanks, David.

The place feels cozy, calm, and comfortable, and breakfast has an old-fashioned feel to it. It’s an older guesthouse with a quirky renovation, and the owners have clearly worked hard to give it a sense of the past. Looking across at the tiny, cell-like units at the Swiss Motel made us feel we’d picked the better of the similarly priced choices. We really enjoyed our stay.

It has an intentionally vintage look, but doesn’t feel dated. In a town full of motels that seem untouched since the 80s, this neat, tidy guesthouse felt homely and had everything we needed, plus a simple breakfast. David was lovely with my daughter as she ran around at breakfast. Just right for a one-night stop, and we’ll stay again when we’re passing through.

Smallish rooms, but they’ve got what you need for an overnight in Cooma, and the bed was comfy. Check-in and checkout were easy. It’s only a street off the main road, so the shops are an easy walk, yet it stayed very quiet overnight. Good value, would recommend.
