The rooms come with a self-serve continental breakfast in the dining room, which is excellent value at $130/night. The place is old, but it’s definitely clean, and the staff are really friendly. Our room faced the highway; the road noise didn’t bother us, though light sleepers should ask for a room at the back. Do the small town a favour and stop in for a beer and a good meal, then stay the night. The Belgian waffle cafe next door opens at 0830.

Parking out the back felt secure, and breakfast in the morning was simple and well stocked. The accommodation is basic but comfortable, with a great shower and a comfy bed. My room was exceptionally clean and had been painted recently, so it felt bright. Staff were friendly, and the restaurant did a nice, hearty dinner. It offers just what it advertises.

We had a good dinner in the bistro, with tasty food at a reasonable price. The room was basic but clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was free and fantastic. A great little place to stop for the night, and I’d definitely stay again.

We’d had a huge day working away and arrived almost an hour after dinner time, but the owners still made us some dinner. They were absolutely lovely. They deserve every five-star review, and we’d stay again in a heartbeat.

The breakfast dining room was a nice touch, and I’ll definitely stay again. A great country hotel, with clean, tidy rooms and comfortable beds. I liked the dinner and lunch menu too.
