There’s a nice pub just a two minute walk away, and the motel is close to the freeway too. We’ve stayed a few times and it’s been great each visit. The owner is warm and welcoming, and the rooms are quiet and comfortable, with a microwave, toaster and kettle. He even has oat milk available and will clean your windscreen.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times over the years and keep recommending it to other travellers. The room is clean, the bed is comfy and it’s quiet, with Netflix and a good-sized fridge for a night or two. There’s fresh milk when you arrive, and the owner might even clean your windscreen. He also lent us plates and cutlery when I’d forgotten our picnic set and we planned to eat in the room. The pub is an easy walk away and serves great meals.

The rooms were spotless and really comfortable. It’s also conveniently close to the freeway, pub and other cafes. The operators were genuinely friendly and attentive, and even washed my windscreen with a smile. We’ll come back next trip. Thanks, and well done 👏

A really comfortable king bed and spotless room in this lovely older motel. The local pub is almost next door and has good meals, and there’s a cafe open early for breakfast.

John, the owner, is the best part of this friendly little motel. It’s in a quiet village just off the M1, around 80 metres from a rather famous pub with an excellent kitchen. WiFi and Netflix are available.
