The rooms are spacious and very large, with modern hotel amenities while still fitting the building’s history. This is one of the most beautiful BnB’s I’ve stayed in. Ken and Sal made our arrival easy and cooked us a delicious breakfast. I’d definitely think about coming back for a weekend.

Sal and Kim are such a lovely, friendly couple, and we left with a really lovely memory. Sarah and I have visited lots of vintage shops since our stay, wishing we could have a dream house like this boutique hotel. The room’s decoration is amazing, especially for someone from an Asian background. I’ll definitely recommend it to friends planning a trip to Australia, and hope to see Sal and Kim again.

What a gem. The bed was comfy, the shower was a dream, and the service was outstanding. It’s a peaceful period-style home, furnished beautifully with lovely attention to detail. Sally and Ken are friendly, generous, thoughtful and happy to accommodate. We loved meeting little Millie too, and would definitely stay again.

McGowans B&B is our favourite of the quite a few B&Bs we’ve tried in Australia. The rooms are amazing, breakfast was beautiful, and the owners are absolutely lovely. We’ll definitely visit again in the future.

The room looks amazing and feels really comfortable and homely. Breakfast was the best ever, and the food was amazing. Sal and Ken provide such great service, with breakfast and all the little things in the room covered. There’s nothing more you could want or need.
