Anchor Belle Holiday Park

Anchor Belle holiday park is really close to nearly all the famous beaches and the penguin parade. We had a pleasant stay, and check-in was quick and easy. We found the camp kitchen very comfortable and super clean. The facilities are a little old, but extremely clean. We're travelling in a rental van and have stayed at a few camper sites, and Anchor Bell park was the cleanest. Thanks for taking such good care of your guests! I used the laundry too. The machines were good in general, though it would be helpful to have the option to pay by card, or exchange card payments for coins. We absolutely recommend staying here!

This was our first visit, on a powered site, and we had a good experience. It was pretty quiet even with lots of families around during peak season, and we found the other campers considerate and friendly. Staff and regulars were friendly too. My daughter made friends and loved the jumping pillow and indoor pool. There’s a playground for little ones, plus bathrooms that were clean. The kitchen was only partly equipped, and I expected a cooktop from the photos. An oven and cooktop would be useful. There’s also a coin laundry onsite. You can walk a short way to the beach. Espresso coffee is available onsite, or Mr Islas cafe is nearby and opens at 5.30am for early birds, which I'm not!

We booked a cabin for family visiting from overseas, and they felt so welcome and at home. The staff were absolutely fabulous, always attentive and helpful, from suggesting day trips to ongoing assistance. Nothing was too much trouble. We were delighted with the park and will book again whenever we have overseas visitors, so they can enjoy the island as much as we do.

We spent six nights on a powered site and were very happy with our Anchor Belle stay. The park was lovely and quiet, with wild rabbits around. We had baby bunnies on our site every day, which were very cute. Our corner site was spacious and beautifully grassed, though the sites are tight to manoeuvre into and could catch a novice caravanner off guard. Cowes main street is not too far away. The amenities block was new and clean, and the indoor heated pool, jumping pillow and games room kept the kids entertained. There are two well-equipped camp kitchens onsite. Staff were very friendly and gave us helpful advice about local island attractions. Highly recommended.
