Bayview Apartments

The manager was very friendly, and the location is great, right by the esplanade. The room could have used more attention during cleaning. I think it needs a proper spring clean.

The host was fantastic and had fresh homemade fudge waiting when we arrived. After a day of walking, the spa and pool were great for relaxing. We had plenty of laughs in the games room around the pool table. Thanks for a great getaway.

The location was the only good thing for us, and I wouldn't come back. The carpets smelled, the blankets were dusty, and my hay fever got so bad I had to sleep with the window open in the middle of winter just to breathe. The dishwasher was broken, and there was no pan for the stovetop. We used a portable one, but black flakes came off it, so we had to throw away our food. The plugged-in fridge made a ringing noise that worried me enough to unplug it, and we had to get rid of our ice cream. It took ages to get hot water from the taps or shower, and the shower pressure was too strong. I'm pretty sure the owner or another guest came to our door while we were asleep in the morning. It made us girls feel very uncomfortable.

The units are right by the Esplanade, with shops and restaurants nearby, which was really convenient. The rooms were neat and tidy.
