I checked in last night and found stains that looked like urine and blood on two separate spots in the supposedly cleaned room. I used a different blanket, then in the morning discovered the toilet was cracked and unclean. On my break at 11, I called reception and politely asked for the sheets to be changed before I returned. The receptionist verbally abused me, blamed the cleaner or housekeeper, and said, “Don’t worry, mate, it’ll be cleaned.” I said it was no problem as long as they changed them. After work I went back, packed my things straight away and checked out. I strongly recommend choosing another motel in the area. There are many clean, comfortable places. I do not recommend this place at all.

Room 5 had a comfortable bed, decent pillows and a clean bathroom. The place is a bit dated, and there were a few weeds in the driveway, but the water was hot with good pressure, plenty of towels and face washers, and a good supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk. It's in the town centre, with little traffic noise and plenty of places to eat. The pub almost opposite does great food. I'd stay again. Mobility access is limited.

The pool was a nice surprise, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location, though the overall look is dated and a bit dingy. Such a shame the gardens are neglected.

I've stayed here three times now and still have no real complaints. It's inexpensive, decent accommodation in a central location. Just don't expect anything flash. I'd stay again.

The building looks nice from outside, and inside the room was okay, though run down with cracks in the walls. Our beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was awful: black and pink mould in the shower, a toilet leaking onto the floor, brown smudges on the wall, a filthy door and someone else's hair at the shower entrance. The cleaner could definitely use some pointers. I wouldn't stay again.
