The shared kitchenette came in handy when we wanted to stay in, especially with the patisserie pizza and an oven and microwave available. We also loved the restaurant and cellar/patisserie downstairs, and the hotel is only a short walk from Stirling’s main street. In Room 3, the gas fireplace and huge bath made our three nights at the end of winter wonderfully cosy. On sunny days, we could leave the balcony doors open and step outside to see what was going on. A lovely choice for a romantic weekend in the hills.

The room had plenty of space and everything we needed, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our four nights at the Stirling. We also enjoyed the downstairs dining options, including the chance to have a cheeky late night drink. Thanks to the team for giving us such a positive base for our South Australia holiday.

Downstairs there’s a fantastic bistro and bar, with a great dining experience, friendly staff and an extensive wine list. The location is fantastic too. We had a two-night getaway in luxurious accommodation, with a king-size bed, a huge bathroom, lots of towels and plenty of room. The master controls for the gas fireplace were a nice touch. Get in here, people!

We were very pleased with our stay in Room 3 and would happily come back for another winter break. The fireplace made it cosy, and we enjoyed coffee on the balcony, a big bath and shower, and dinner at the restaurant. There was a smart TV for our Prime and Netflix accounts, pod coffee, T2 tea, a continental breakfast, board games to use and a $20 drinks voucher. The staff were nice too. A lovely romantic getaway that went beyond what we expected.
