We felt relaxed as soon as we arrived at Yoko Villa. It’s beautifully designed, very serene, and gives you a real sense of privacy and calm. We especially appreciated the filtered water, a thoughtful touch that shows the care behind the guest experience. Those small details help make a stay memorable. The Bali villa looked great online, but it was even more divine in person. After just one night, I woke up feeling like I was on holiday. The Gluten free Asian cooking class was fantastic too. The menu was delicious, Daniel was a perfect host, and Yuki was fun and entertaining. The ingredients were good quality, and you didn’t need much cooking skill. Both experiences were worth the money for a special occasion. I can’t fault either.

We spent the weekend in the Japanese Villa for our wedding anniversary, and it was a perfect romantic escape. The villa was spotless, and we loved every minute of the stay. The cooking class was fantastic as well. Yuki was hilarious and knew so much, explaining everything clearly and sharing tips we can easily use at home. We can’t wait to come back!

The class, food and accommodation were great. One small suggestion, though: for people who don’t drink, it’d be nice to have something beyond soft drinks. Our lunch felt very wine-focused, which is totally fine, but sitting at the table with a can of Sprite felt awkward, especially when we had to explain it to our co-cooks and new friends. There are so many non-alcoholic options these days that would pair better with the food and help non-drinkers feel included. This review’s quite late, so things may have changed since then. 😊

The meals came out so well, and some of the food was among my favourites I’ve ever had. My wife and I really enjoyed the cooking classes. Chef Yukiko made them fun and engaging. We’ll have to do it again, and hopefully book accommodation next time. Thank you.
