Accommodation at Curlewis

The restaurant and bar are handy, and if you skip full housekeeping during a multi-day stay, they give you a voucher to use there. You can still ask for towels or toilet paper. The place was peaceful, though on weekends you might hear people returning late after a night out. Staff were very friendly, and I hope to come back. The rooms feel new and modern, with a super-comfortable extra-large bed, good temperature control, electric blinds, and a comfortable bathroom. There’s a decent-sized mini fridge, and the bin is tucked away in a cupboard. Hair products, body wash, and lotion are provided. I didn’t use the TV. Some areas have weaker phone reception, but my Telstra phone worked perfectly in the room. Free WiFi is available. Some rooms are upstairs and only accessible by stairs, with no elevator, so you can request a ground-floor room if you have mobility issues. I’d also ask for a room farther from the highway.

The room looked out over the golf course, and I really liked it. The automatic blinds are great, though the gaps between the three separate blinds let some light through. For a two-night stay, one milk wasn’t enough, and the room could use a dishcloth and tea towel for washing cups. We also arrived to find the liquid soap empty, so I had to track down a cleaner the next day to refill it.

A beautiful outlook over the golf course, with modern, clean and classy rooms. This is a very cool place to stay at the Curlewis Golf Club. We’ll be back! 😃

We had a wonderful night, with great views and a lovely clean room. The bed was comfy, and the staff made us feel welcome with their friendly service.
