The Chen Melbourne - Art Series

The hotel was beautiful, well maintained and comfortable, and its location was ideal, with public transport and Box Hill Central nearby. We were part of a large group, and the staff stayed patient and organised, always ready to help. The whole team made the stay easy and enjoyable from start to finish. After checkout, we realised we’d left some items behind. The staff kindly kept them safe and arranged for us to pick them up later. Many thanks to Hazel and the rest of the team for the warm hospitality. We’d definitely stay at The Chen again! 🙌

Box Hill is a handy place to stay for a short visit. There are plenty of shops and places to eat nearby, and Box Hill Gardens is great for a quick run. It’s especially good if you enjoy Asian food and culture. Parking was the one downside, though walking around the area is easy.

We had a lovely stay, with a clean room and a really comfortable bed. The reception team were friendly and helpful, and the shopping mall is just across the road. The only snag was parking: the hotel car park was full on our first night, so we could only get a space there the next morning. Apart from that, we had a great time and would happily recommend it.

The room was comfortable, the king bed was great, and I slept well. I liked the little pod coffee machine too. The building has beautiful art, and the service was quick and efficient. Since I was working across the road, the location suited me perfectly. A few carpet stains and chipped tapware could use some attention, which is why I gave four stars. It’s a shame people don’t take better care of things.
