We had a comfortable, clean bed and a lovely breakfast spread in the front room each morning. The street has plenty of nightlife, but our room was quiet. It's very close to the train station, which got us into the city in record time. A comfortable, affordable little place, and we'd happily book here again on our next visit to Melbourne.

Our double room was huge, with heaps of natural light, and the place was clean and tidy. The staff were always ready to help, and the continental breakfast was amazing. It's just 2 minutes from both trams and trains, and only 10 minutes into the city by train. I'd recommend it if you're after somewhere affordable without giving up quality.

There are shops, bars, and restaurants all around, and it's an easy 30 minute walk to St Kilda beach. The room was nice but quite small for 2 people. Our room was at the front, so we heard the street, and the train line at the back carried noise to the outdoor seating too. Still, the shower was good, the communal kitchen was clean and well equipped, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. We stayed for 2 nights and would recommend it.

A nice, inexpensive stay relatively close to the CBD, with really friendly staff. I highly recommend it. My only criticism is that the rooms have great flat screen TVs, but no aerials.

The building carries sound, so it was a little noisy, though not too bad. Otherwise, this was surprisingly nice budget accommodation: perfectly clean, well maintained, and in a good location. We'll aim to stay here again next time.
