Dalby Parkview Motel

I was exhausted and running on empty, desperate for a good night's sleep. The reviews gave me hope, and I wasn't disappointed. The motel is tastefully renovated, with a super comfy bed and such peace and quiet that I slept better than I had in weeks. The rain shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water, and I loved the breakfast setup with its huge range of choices. The owners are lovely, genuine people who made me feel at home. Highly recommend.

Nat and Dennis run this fabulous motel. The rooms are modern and awesome, with comfortable mattresses and pillows, a kitchenette, air con, TV and a beautiful modern bathroom. The shower has great pressure, and even the dunny paper is first class. There's parking right in front of the room, lovely gardens, plus a pool and BBQ facilities. Great for workers or family getaways. And free breakfast, bonus, 10 stars.

After a few long days on the road, Dixie, the world's best dog, and I checked in to park view. The managers welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home straight away. They even told me I'd be safe there. I'm not usually a nervous traveller, but as a woman travelling alone, it was a lovely touch and I could breathe out. The recently renovated room was so comfy I nearly went straight to bed. The shower was lovely too. There was plenty of parking, and it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was generous and wow, they even had a coffee pod machine. The park opposite is great for walking Dixie, and Dalby is a lovely country town with lots of places to eat. I had a yummy Indian meal from town. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

Fantastic pet-friendly accommodation in room 9. After travelling from the outback, we appreciated being allowed to leave the dogs in the room while we went for a swim. The room was lovely and clean, the bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the pillows were high quality. The body wash smelled amazing, and our GSPs enjoyed their stay. We brought our own bedding, including a fitted sheet in case the dogs jumped on the bed, a doona and pillows, to make things easier for the cleaners. One thing to mention: please remove the blue toilet stuff in the pet-friendly rooms, as it's poisonous for animals. We put heavy items on the toilet lid so they couldn't drink the water. My friend lost her German Shepherd after it drank from the toilet. Thanks for the free breakfast and for running a pet-friendly motel.
