Drover's Motor Inn, Dalby

The spotless room and warm welcome from Kathy and David made Dalby Drovers' Inn feel top class. We only stayed one night while passing through, but couldn't speak highly enough of our hosts. Our previous night's stay at another country place had left a lot to be desired, so this was such a pleasure. Since it was Christmas Eve there were no hot meals, but a lovely continental breakfast was brought to our room. They took the trouble to serve the cereal, fruit, yoghurt and other items on china, which made us feel cared for. Kathy's travel tips for the next day were spot on, and then, something that's never happened to us before, she called the following week to check we'd got on okay. That's five-star-plus service. We feel like we've made new friends.

We were in town for a swim meet, and this will be our regular place to stay from now on. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The room was larger than we expected, with very modern facilities.

A great find in Dalby. The room itself was immaculate, spacious, nicely furnished, and had plenty of power points. It had everything we needed for a family or business stay. Booking direct, check-in, the facilities, and the staff were all faultless.

I've stayed here a few times over the past couple of months, and the service has been just as good each visit. The room is very clean, and check-in and checkout are easy. The location suits us, and even though it's on the main road, there's very little noise.
