Sitting by the fire while the rain poured outside was such a lovely part of our stay. The rooms were cosy and gorgeous, and the place felt beautiful and secluded. We absolutely loved it and would definitely come back.

The garden views and location are gorgeous, but the villa needed a proper old-fashioned clean. There were spiders and cobwebs on the walls, bugs on the floor and under the couch and bed, and one even joined us in bed. We stayed at Italian Hill 1 two years ago and were delighted by the complimentary eggs, juice, crackers and other food. Italian Hill 2 didn’t have that this time, which is fine, but those extras were a nice touch that made the stay feel special.

The wood fire adds to the warm, cosy feel of the place. It’s away from the main area, so it’s nice and quiet. Loved staying here and would definitely recommend it.

A great Airbnb, with good internet and amenities. It’s private too, and the two big bathtubs and fireplace were lovely.

We’d booked five months ahead, but the booking agent cancelled our stay just four days before we were due to arrive. That left us choosing between cancelling altogether or booking from whatever dregs were still available. Very poor service.
