The Manse

We had a wonderful, relaxing couple of days at The Manse. The breakfast provisions in our room were very generous. Our room was comfortable, with an open fire if needed, radiators and heated blankets. The property overlooks the town, which was an easy walk away. The only small difficulty was trying to shower in the bath without soaking the whole room. Still, it was a great stay and I’d highly recommend it.

The main street, with all the restaurants and cafes Daylesford offers, is an easy walk away. We stayed here quite a while ago and thoroughly enjoyed our time in this gorgeous accommodation. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean, with very comfortable beds and a great breakfast. A visit to the lake is a must while you’re there.

We loved the serene atmosphere here in July, and the quirky thunderbox toilet with its modern cistern was a highlight too. We stayed in the Plum room, which was cosy and so comfortable. The bed was blissful, with quality linen and a soft but supportive mattress. On arrival, we appreciated the wine and chocolate and spent a lovely hour sipping wine as the fog shifted and changed. Thank you, Helen, for such a wonderful stay.

We’ve returned to this enchanting mansion, where everything is provided to make the stay luxurious. Helen is a wonderful host, and all the little extras help make things comfortable. The champagne, chocolates and breakfast are very generous. The beds are beautiful and soft, the fires are set and easy to light for a cosy atmosphere, and the claw-foot baths are lovely.
