Cottages on Edward

We were there for a wedding and were impressed by the whole place. The cottages were adorable, clean, and quiet, and the hospitality was amazing. The complimentary port and cheese board were lovely details. It was such good value that I’d gladly have paid double. Can’t recommend it enough.

Richard greeted us with warm bread and cheese, which made our day. The views and location are perfect for a quiet getaway as a couple. The Cottages are thoughtfully laid out and have everything provided.

The hosts are so friendly and hospitable, and they’ve thought of everything. There’s freshly baked bread and breakfast food, including bacon and eggs. They even provide a push bike in the carport if you’d like to ride around town. I’ve stayed in some very upmarket places, but nothing compares, especially at this price. Highly recommended.

The room was spacious, and the wood fire was terrific on the couple of chilly winter nights we had. We stayed two nights to visit a friend, and the hosts were fabulous. There was a complimentary cheese platter, homemade bread, spreads, juices, coffee, teas, milk, and more. I’d recommend this place.
