Michelle and Tom were wonderful, and even mailed back a few things we left behind. The home had the basics we needed and worked really well with young kids. It feels private among nature, while still being close to town, the river, and walking trails, with beaches an easy drive away. A great place to use as a home base, and we'd highly recommend it.

The town centre, with its coffee shops, restaurants, and stores, is only a five-minute drive away, and there are lovely beaches and bush walks nearby. We spent a week at Denmark Forest Retreat and found it beautiful and relaxing. Our cottage was spotless, peaceful, and equipped with everything we needed. The owners were very friendly and did all they could to make our holiday enjoyable. Thanks, Michelle and Tom.

You can book each home on its own for plenty of privacy, or rent them all together for a big family or group of friends. They’re well fitted out and set in bushland, yet close to town and all Denmark has to offer. Michelle and Tom were welcoming and quick to respond. Highly recommended!

Tom and Michelle were so friendly and accommodating. The cottages are roomy and well equipped. I’d forgotten the oil, but it was there, along with washing detergent and a coffee machine. I have four girls and they loved it. The country feel is so real here, we’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Denmark forest retreat.

We were over the moon with our stay at Denmark Forest Retreat. It felt like a peaceful little slice of paradise, homely and comfortable, with welcoming hosts who really went above and beyond. The beds were comfy and the shower was awesome. Thank you, Jason & Melissa.
