The owners, everyone on the island, and the boat crew all helped make this one of the most relaxing holidays we've had. If you're in Denham, go check it out. Highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

The tours were so well done, and the wildlife was amazing. Having drinks at the end of Australia was mind-blowing. The staff were fantastic, the rooms were great, and I slept better in that bed than anywhere else on my holiday. Then there was the food, made by the owner, who always had a smile. It was beyond exceptional. I haven't had an experience this good in a long time. You can't do better than staying here.

We had an unforgettable time on the great excursions. What a wonderful place, thanks so much!

We spent a whole day driving 70km to Cape Inscription and 70km back, visiting the Hartog and Vlamingh plate sites, the lighthouse, and Dampier’s Landing. The rough, corrugated 4-wheel drive tracks and patches of soft sand made for a bone-rattling ride, so it isn't for the faint-hearted. Still, getting to see those places was a unique opportunity, and the commentary along the way was detailed. Vehicle breakdowns could have put the Inscription tour off the agenda, but the Lodge arranged for a replacement vehicle to be brought to the island. That says a lot about the owners doing their best for visitors. We also took the “most Western Australian sunset” tour and the Marine tour. Both were worth our time, with plenty of land and marine wildlife to see, including dugongs. The guides went out of their way to help us get as much as possible from each tour. My partner and I stayed at the Eco Lodge for 3 nights and had a fabulous time. Kieran and Tory Wardle and their staff were boundlessly friendly and hospitable. The eating and relaxing areas were spotless and tidy, and the breakfast, lunch, and daytime refreshments made us feel at home. The evening dinners were so thoughtfully prepared and served that they deserved a Michelin star or two. We don't know how the Wardles keep everything running to such a high standard while being self-sufficient on a remote, wild, water-scarce island with all the logistical challenges, but we commend them. We can’t recommend the place highly enough.

One of the best days of my life. It was only 45 minutes in the jet boat, then a 4-wheel drive tour of the island and a sumptuous lunch. There's a bar and a cafe too, with gin tasting after lunch. The return trip is by jet boat, with a dugong search. It's OK for older people or people with a disability. Fantastic tour.
