Daintree Deep Forest Lodge

A friendly lady helped with everything we asked for, and the location was very practical for visiting the Daintree highlights. The spacious room, or apartment, had a big veranda and forest all around it. It’s right in the rainforest, with cassowaries visiting regularly. A great place to stay.

Cabins 1, 2 and 3 worked perfectly for our large family. The beds were comfortable, it was quiet with nobody else nearby, and the kitchenettes had the basics for making a meal. We got a generous, friendly welcome and thought it was great value. Thanks for having us in beautiful Daintree.

We only stopped in for dinner and didn’t stay overnight. The food was tasty, with a simple menu that suited our family perfectly. It was nice meeting other families, playing games, and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. Such a cool spot.

Marie shared her lovely home and garden with us, and it felt like a privilege to stay there. The lodge was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Its location is ideal for exploring Daintree boardwalks and beaches. Marie was so helpful, offered plenty of good advice, shared her rainforest knowledge, and brought us fresh towels to help us feel comfortable and welcome. Our son had a great time too, so don’t hesitate to visit with children. We were lucky enough to see the cassowary that regularly visits her garden, along with a carpet python, flying foxes, and lots of spiders that were exotic to us. We’d absolutely stay again and recommend it.
