2 Bedroom Darling Harbour Apartment

The attached restaurant and café had amazing service, and the coffee was 10/10. Staff throughout the hotel were so welcoming and friendly. The location is excellent, with little restaurants and convenience stores all around and the train station a five-minute walk away. Our room was clean, though some spots were still dusty. The mirrors hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived or during room service. Aside from that, everything was good. We’ll be back :)

The room and bathroom were stunning, and our balcony was lovely for a morning cuppa. I’d stay again. The rooftop pool was nice, though it could use a wider selection of drinks.

The rooftop pool and the views were a real highlight, and the staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour is in a great spot, right by the water, restaurants, and the city centre. Despite how busy the area is, our room was clean, modern, and surprisingly quiet. It’s a great base for exploring Sydney, and I’d definitely stay again.

We booked an Executive Suite with City View, but found a very small single-room layout, with no separate or clearly defined living area. It didn’t meaningfully differ from a standard hotel room. The room title and listing photos gave a much more spacious, premium impression than what we found, and it wasn’t what a reasonable guest would expect from something called a “suite.” Staff told us this was the room we had booked and there were no other room types available. Their only suggestion was to push two single beds together, which didn’t address the problem. We chose not to stay and had to book somewhere else. The refund was later declined, even though we had left immediately without staying. While trying to get a refund, we were told Expedia/Webjet that the hotel had offered us an alternative room. That is a lie. This was a very disappointing experience, from the misleading presentation to the poor resolution. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you expect a true suite. Book elsewhere.
