We had a lovely three-night stay at Dalrymples at Bower cottage. The cottage was cosy and comfortable, and we especially appreciated having the fire and spa. It felt quiet and private, with a beautiful natural outlook, even though the shops and cafes were an easy walk away. The friendly, helpful team also made booking and getting access very straightforward.

We had a brief but excellent stay in the Kingfisher cabin. It was an easy walk into town, and we enjoyed having a BBQ on the veranda. The place was spotless and had plenty of towels and bathroom supplies, plus really warm dressing gowns and slippers. Both bedrooms were huge, each with a king-size bed and ensuite, and one had a spa. They'd already turned the heater on, so it was lovely and warm when we arrived. Everything was great.

The garden around the cottage was gorgeous, full of nature and all sorts of birds, and we loved spending time there. Inside, everything had been thought through, from the well-equipped kitchen and house to the little touches ready for us, including the set up fireplace. The porch and BBQ were a hit too. Loved every moment.

The hosts really went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Kingfisher Cottage was clean and spacious, and the fireplace made it especially lovely. It’s a short walk into town and about a 20-minute drive to Lake Mountain Resort. Absolutely amazing.
