Paul made the stay feel so welcoming. He was kind, helpful, and full of great local tips. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the place had that rare mix of feeling at home while still being a luxury escape. It was wonderfully relaxed. I’d absolutely return.

Even in winter, we couldn’t resist a swim in the lovely pool, and the room was really comfortable. We’d booked a last-minute night away at Alexandria Retreat, and it turned out just right. Our hosts were warm and helpful, breakfast was amazing, and Paul’s dinner suggestions worked out well. We’ll tell our friends and family to book.

The house is beautiful, full of natural light, with lovely views, and it’s an easy drive to Noosa. Everything was spotless and Paul was a wonderful host. Breakfast was great too. We’d stay again. Thanks for having us, Paul!

The birdlife and peaceful scenery made us want to stay longer, and the views stretch right across the valley to the coast. The property is beautiful and well placed near Eumundi. Paul was a great host, with lots of thoughtful touches that made us feel pampered. The rooms are gorgeous, and breakfast beat what we’ve had at five-star hotels. A perfect start to our holiday 😊

We were lucky to get an early check-in and late check-out for our Australia Day weekend at Alexandria Retreat. Paul was welcoming and always happy to help. The pool was clean and warm, and he lent us beach towels and even helped with some urgent washing, which was useful with the rainbow lorikeet flocks around. From our pool-view room, the outlook over the Noosa Headlands was breathtaking, and we spotted a kangaroo in the backyard. We missed two included breakfasts because of our tour schedule, which was a shame since Paul is such a good cook and the breakfast we did have was outstanding. The bed was softer than we prefer, and take care driving up the steep entrance to the parking area. Thanks, Paul, for a fantastic weekend. We’ll be back!
