The staff were great, and for the price I had no real issue with the room. The problem was the noise: the rooms sit right above the bar, and the music downstairs came straight through. I measured 65 dB at 3am and barely slept. I was driving from Brisbane to Victoria, so that was a rough night. I’d avoid staying here on a Friday or Saturday.

The pub was clean, the staff were friendly, and the background music stayed unobtrusive. I liked the corner location and big verandah, which reminded me of the Trundle Hotel. The meals are great value Monday to Friday. A good stop for visitors wanting a meal and a beer while on holiday.

The manager went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a good night in a safe environment, and I really appreciate that. The food was brilliant and the staff were great too. The car park’s lock-up gate gave me peace of mind about the vehicle overnight. Thanks to everyone working tonight. I’ll be back to stay again.

The Chicken Parmi was a generous serve, cheap and worth the price, and the staff were friendly. I stayed one night while travelling. The accommodation was very average, but that’s about what I expected for somewhere this cheap.

The shared bathroom was broken and filthy, and the place itself is a dump. The staff do try their best, but I’d pay a bit extra for somewhere decent, even though this is cheap accommodation.
