We’d arranged with Craig, the park operator, to move into a permanent rental cabin on Monday the 1st of December. When we called on the 30th of November to ask when to come by to pay the security deposit and move in the next day, we were met with hostility and what I believe were false claims. Craig had started ignoring our calls. I then reached the front desk and spoke with Sheryl, who was nasty and disrespectful to us as customers. She said we had to double the deposit, even though Craig had agreed to the original amount five days earlier. She told me to call back tomorrow because they supposedly weren’t open on Sunday, despite answering my call at the front office and operating that day. When I tried to explain what Craig had told us about moving in, she talked over me, called me rude for trying to reach the owners while they ignored my calls, and then hung up. We’ve since turned down other living arrangements because we’d been told we could move in on Monday, only to apparently be declined after a few days had passed, for no stated reason. Zero stars. The owners and operators seemed dishonest and played with people’s lives, then dodged calls to avoid responsibility. Putrid, wishy-washy and unprofessional behaviour for a customer-facing business. Don’t stay here if you value common decency and honesty.

We moved into our lovely little home the same day, about three hours after getting off the Spirit of Tasmania. We’ve lived here since September 2019 and are extremely happy. I hope we have many more years enjoying this beautiful state. Come introduce yourselves to our wonderful park manager. I’m sure he’ll make your stay very happy, with all the nearby sites for everyone to enjoy. Frank and Cathey. 🥂👍🎵

The villa was immaculate, lovely and clean, and very peaceful. It was thoughtfully equipped for people’s needs, with a convection oven/microwave for cooking, a clothes airer with pegs, and both mugs and cups and saucers. We stayed two nights and I can’t speak highly enough of it.

The owner is so nice and friendly. It’s right on the coastline, with breathtaking views and a green track for walking or cycling nearby. A wonderful place for a peaceful break.

A convenient, quiet park with a courteous owner. We stayed almost two weeks, but had trouble with the advertised free Wi-Fi. Check the policy when you arrive.
