It’s close to the town centre, and most places are an easy walk. The views over Twofold Bay are incredible, and our room was very quiet, large, and quite well equipped apart from the dreadful bed. The Golden Ocean Asian Restaurant is only a couple of minutes away on foot, and dinner there on our second night was brilliant. The motel is run down and badly needs a refit. The gardens are unkempt, and the place needs a thorough clean inside and out. There was mould on some shower tiles, and the paintwork looked grimy or poorly done. There was no information about the region in the room. The internal lighting was awful at night, with no lights suitable for reading. Our bed wasn’t made during the stay, and one bedside table had something extremely sticky on it. Neither table looked like it had been wiped in a while, and the TV remote didn’t work. The bed was ghastly. The mattress had collapsed, so depending on how we lay, it felt like climbing a mountain or about to fall off one. It was also extremely noisy, which put an end to any shenanigans with my partner.

We had a great stay, and I’d definitely come back. The location is handy for walking to the shops, and the veranda seating was a nice place to take in the view. The view says it all. The decor is a little dated, but the room was clean. There was a small kitchenette and a large TV, which was a bonus.

The owner was welcoming and friendly, and the location was great. My room was immaculate, spacious, and had everything I needed, including a fridge, microwave, and kettle. The bed was lovely and comfortable. Couldn’t fault it, and I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Eden.

Good value for money at a very reasonable price. The rooms were spacious, clean, tidy, and well equipped, with a TV, kettle, and toaster. The beds were nicely presented, and parking was available in a great location.

We had a wonderful view from both the room and verandah. The motel was really quiet, and everything was meticulously clean. Our room was huge, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchenette. There was plenty of bench space in the bathroom too.
