Edithburgh isn’t my favourite spot on the Yorke Peninsula, but this caravan park was really good. Tracy at reception was lovely and friendly every time we dealt with her. We had everything we needed in the Pet Friendly Park Unit with Shared Bathroom. It was a very spacious, tidy room with a queen bed and bunk beds, sleeping up to four. The big deck is shared with the adjoining unit, which works well for a larger group. The shared bathrooms were exceptionally clean and kept up every day, even with the park so busy that time of year. We stayed for three nights.

The view was lovely, and the bathrooms themselves were clean. The problem was the sanitary bins in the women’s cubicles: every one was full and looked like it had been that way for a while. We told management, who said they’d sort it straight away, but more than 24 hours later, as I’m writing this, none had been emptied. Pretty disappointing.

That little room really wasn’t worth $195 a night for three nights. It was very, very small, and there were ants all over the kitchen floor. The shower barely worked, with water trickling out. I’d asked for single beds but got bunks instead, and then had to ask for linen. Not impressed at all. Coobowie caravan Park is 100% better!

You can stand on the main street and mostly hear birds, with just a bit of quiet chatter. The seaside seating and grassy spots were clean and peaceful too, with clear water and such fresh air. This is the place for a slow, peaceful day. Green grass, the sea, birds and wind, and a clean environment. Absolute heaven. The caravan park and town were the best I’ve stayed in, pristine with no litter anywhere. I loved it and will definitely return. I could live there. Edithburgh and Caravan Park, I love you ❤️❤️❤️

The basketball half court has a tree hanging over it, so jump shots are out 🤣. The WiFi was average, though Voda reception was more than enough for emails and social media. There’s loads of room to cook here. The kitchen has two electric stoves and ovens, two sinks beside each, a microwave and a big TV over the cooking area. There’s plenty of fridge and freezer space, a large indoor dining table and lots of seating, plus a park style table outside. The BBQ area was tidy, and they even supplied baking paper to keep the grill top clean. The grounds were well looked after, with fresh green grass and plenty for kids to do. We called that day about a powered site and were told there were plenty, so we headed down. Check in and payment were easy, and we got the keys and access codes on arrival. It’s close to the jetty and the main strip, with the pub, cafes and IGA nearby. A great park.
