Western Gateway Motel and Apartments

The sticky date pudding and stone grill were especially delicious. I had a great time in Emerald, and Craig and the team deserve a big thanks. The room was spacious and had useful extras like a big fridge and microwave, which worked well for a few nights. I’ll be back on my next visit.

There’s parking out front, and the seating doesn’t feel cramped. I tried the hotstone restaurant and thought the meat was very good and reasonably priced. If you don’t drink, though, the options are limited. Someone who drinks had plenty to choose from.

The amenities are excellent, and you get well above what you pay for. The staff were fabulous, friendly, and attentive. It’s also in a really convenient, central spot. I’d highly recommend staying here while travelling through Emerald.

The shower was excellent, with none of that low-pressure water you often get from water-saving fixtures. The motel was comfortable, clean, and quiet, which are the main things for us. They were upgrading the outside of the rooms during our stay, but the workers kept the noise down and were very courteous. We’d recommend it for business or pleasure.
