Emu Park Motel

We spent 5 nights at this lovely little motel. It's spotless, and the owner Craig and staff are fantastic, approachable and helpful. Emu Park itself is a delightful little spot. Our room #7 had a Queen bed and a Single bed, tea and coffee making facilities, a sink, crockery, utensils, microwave, reverse cycle air-conditioning and a huge bathroom. There's guest laundry on site and covered car parking. Rooms are pet friendly for dogs and cats. Best of all, two of the pet friendly rooms have fully fenced grass courtyards, with a doggy door in the security screen for access in and out.

We were exhausted after driving from Mackay with family visiting from overseas to show them a couple of attractions nearby, and reached the motel around 4 pm. Check-in was simple, the street was quiet, and the three rooms we booked were worth far more than we were charged. They were extremely clean, had comfy beds and everything you could ask for on a quick stopover. Jenny was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Can't say enough good things, and we'll definitely stay here next time we're in the area.

Just minutes from town, this older motel was very clean. The owner was super helpful.

We were glad they had a pet friendly room available at short notice during school holidays. Apartment #9 had two bedrooms, was surprisingly spacious and very clean, with a private courtyard for our four legged friend. The ladies were lovely, and we got fresh towels daily. Town's main area isn't too far, but we drove because there's a bit of a hill on the way back. We'll definitely stay again and have already recommended Emu Park Motel to our friends with pets.
