The park itself is lovely, with a shady setting, and it’s clearly very well run. Still, more than $70 a night for a powered site is a lot. I can afford it, fortunately, but even I balked at the price. We paid $60 a night at Camerons Corner, out in the middle of this great country, where they have to run diesel generators for power. This was our third visit in three years, but it may be our last, which is a shame.

There are plenty of shady, generously sized sites among the established trees, and the park is handy to the IGA, Main Street pubs and the rail trail. Esk is a great place to start sections of the trail. We also caught a duo playing live at the camp kitchen on Saturday night, which was lovely, and we’ll definitely stay again. The camp kitchen seems quite new, with great BBQs, pizza ovens, regular ovens, cooktops, utensils and loads of seating. There’s a family pool and a separate adults-only one. The adult pool is nicer, though both are pretty good, and there’s a BBQ area near the family pool. Toilets and showers were clean, well kept and plentiful. Thanks for having us.

The camp kitchen is huge, with pizza ovens and BBQs, and there’s entertainment on Saturday nights. You can walk to the pubs, shops and a great bakery. It’s a really lovely park, with super clean amenities, a kid-friendly pool, a separate adults-only pool, and they allow fur babies.

We visited in mid-May with our caravan and had a fantastic stay. The staff were absolutely the nicest, especially Tasman and Curtis. They’re the loveliest couple, and it was a pleasure meeting them. We’ll definitely be back.

We came for a group muster and were really impressed. The sites are big, and it’s very dog friendly. Both pools looked so inviting and were heated. The amenities were spotless, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d highly recommend Esk caravan park.
