Hola Eumundi

The team at the Imperial Hotel made this stay feel personal and genuine. Lakita made our last-minute booking and arrival smooth and welcoming, and Pav, an absolute legend, made the rest of our visit memorable. The accommodation was just as good as the photos, and then some, modern, organic, tranquil and boujee, right in the heart of Eumundi. Thanks for making us feel welcome and helping us out. We found the hotel excellent value, and everything was great, especially the very comfortable, soft beds. The downsides were the cameras around the pool, which made the area feel a bit intrusive, and our balcony view of the back of the shops from the road. One morning, the guy behind the shop was using a blower vac, and the noise was annoying.

We came for a family lunch at the hotel restaurant/pub, not to review the rooms. Parking was hard to find around Sunday lunchtime. The playground made it a good choice for the kids, so we sat nearby. Service was good, but the food was average, like pub food generally.

Over the past two years, my partner and I had stayed here about ten times, making Hola and Eumundi our peaceful getaway. We always ate at the imperial hotel and enjoyed Eumundi's tranquillity, so we tried to book another night. Instead, my partner received a message saying the room had been left in a way that meant they wouldn't accept our booking, and that the reservation was cancelled. We were gobsmacked and saddened. We've stayed in lots of hotels and always leave rooms clean and tidy, even making the beds so they look as nice as when we arrived. We put towels on the bathroom floor so they can be washed for the next guests. We've never broken anything and have always treated rooms as if they were our own. We'll never stay here again, and we won't be able to enjoy Eumundi the way we used to. We'll also share our experience with friends and family who've stayed here or were planning to.
