The park is in a great spot beside the community playground, beach, river and town, and we'd come back now that we know what to expect. We hired a six berth cabin, but it was basically one room with a double bed and two double bunks, with no real space for six. The double bed is in the kitchen dining area. There aren't decent facilities for kids beyond a toddler play area, and the camp seems geared more toward older generations, with lots of grey nomads and not many families. We had no contact with staff, though we didn't really need any. The economy cabins are glorified tents, and should probably be marketed that way so people aren't disappointed.

Our EV cabin was lovely and clean, with a nice deck. It was at the back of the park near the road, but very quiet, and there was parking right outside. Everything is within walking distance.

There are two distinct areas in this well kept park. The lower compact sites are close to the water and can get very busy, while I prefer the higher sites. It's an easy walk to the pub, bowls club, bakery, butcher and IGA. Friendly staff too. A fantastic park. I've noticed some unflattering reviews, but you just can't please some people.

The room and location were lovely, and the other ladies we dealt with were really helpful and full of information. I don't know her name, but I want to thank the lady who made something special happen for our first wedding anniversary. We had an awesome time, apart from the wind on one particular day. We'll definitely be back, hopefully very soon. Brian & Bianca

There were only a couple of large sites with lots of grass and a beautiful big shady tree to gather under, and we were lucky to have one. We stayed in the caravan park with friends, and the camp kitchen worked well for our small group. It's a short walk to the beach, river, surf club and RSL. The surf club happy hour had cheap buckets of Corona stubbies.
