We paid about $1900 for five nights at $400 a night, and the place was poor. The bed and the two single chairs in the TV room were uncomfortable. Dining chairs and the BBQ were broken, the TV was ancient, there was no wifi, and the shower wasn’t clean. Seriously? After the first night, an emergency meant we had to return to Perth. We called to cancel and were promised a refund, but since leaving, our emails and calls have been ignored. Absolutely ridiculous.

Internet was the main letdown. It wasn’t good enough for streaming or video calls. The room itself was comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect.

We found it handy to walk into the town centre, though we drove everywhere for our snorkelling trips. The place was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, air con included. I thought the location was okay.

You’re paying a premium for run-down, poorly maintained shacks that feel like they’re from the post-war era. There’s no wifi, and there are much better places around. I won’t come back.
