Maria was so welcoming at reception that we’re leaving with a really good impression of the place. Our room was in great condition, and whenever we needed something, she did her best to help. We stayed Wednesday through Sunday. If we come back to Mooroopna, we’ll definitely book here again. Thanks, Maria.

There’s a good bistro right next door, and a fast EV charger just down the street. The staff were really nice too. We had a comfortable night at the Rodney Motor Inn in January. It’s a budget motel, but it has what you need and was good value for money.

The reception lady was very pleasant, and the room was clean. The decor, though, is very tired. The chair cushions were completely flat, and the curtains weren’t hanging properly or in great shape. There was just one pillow per person. The bathroom fan was really noisy, and when the shower was running, the hot water briefly made banging sounds in the walls.

Woolworths and Aldi are across the road, with plenty of options nearby for eating out or getting takeaway. We were in room 5, a spacious family room with one double bed and two singles. The beds were comfortable, though we used our own pillows since the room ones looked super slim. The aircon may or may not have worked, we didn’t use it. The room was clean and tidy, with plenty of clean towels, fresh sheets, bathroom supplies, clean crockery, and washing up liquid and towels for washing and drying. I liked the biscuits in the kitchen too. But the room is overdue for a facelift. The carpets looked pretty gross, and I didn’t want to walk around barefoot. The shower heads leaked and the taps dripped. The ceilings in both the bathroom and room badly need repainting, the bathroom fan didn’t work at all, and the bathroom grout and tiles need replacing and updating.
