We loved the pool, the sunset spot with a bar nearby, and the very welcoming, friendly staff. The hotel is also close to the Kings Canyon walks. Our two-night stay in the Deluxe room was fantastic. It was spacious, with a high ceiling and comfortable furnishings that made it feel calm. We especially liked the bathtub in front of the panoramic window. The bathroom was clean and modern, and the room had the essentials, including a fridge, kettle, and coffee machine. I can absolutely recommend staying here.

The bathrooms looked newly renovated and felt spacious and luxe, and the beds were comfortable. I wasn’t sure about value since this was booked as part of a 16-day trip. The Camel Bolognese was delicious, and the light installation was lovely to wander around. Happy hour at the bar is worth catching to save a good amount per drink. We grabbed breakfast quickly before the Kings Canyon Rim Walk, and I put some dried fruit from the breakfast bar in a takeaway coffee cup for the hike. We didn’t stay long enough to visit the servo.

Breakfast was included and very good, with a nice range to choose from. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the view. The front desk staff were helpful. There’s a little watering hole by reception where birds come to drink, a nice spot to hang out. We loved our stay and plan to return.

For just one night, we booked a Budget Quad Lodge Room with a Shared Bath because the ensuite room cost quite a lot more. The shared bathroom was close by and pretty clean. Showering in July was cold, since the covered facility still let wind in, though I imagine it’s quite nice in warmer months. It was decent accommodation for the night.

A good restaurant, though it’s the only one there. The gas station is open 24/7, but the pool and store close early, so keep that in mind. The location works well for a Kings Canyon stay if you’re coming from the dirt road up north.
