Attunga Alpine Lodge

The lounge and dining room were lovely, with a nice view of the mountains and sunset. Dinner was amazing, and breakfast each day was a welcome inclusion. The management team were lovely, and the building was well maintained, though the pool and spa weren't working. I stayed for a four-day weekend during the 2022 snow season, using a booking carried over from lockdown, so it was great to finally make it there. The room setup was a little odd: ours had two bedrooms with a bathroom between them. The ski and drying room was tiny, so most days I had to leave my gear on the outside racks. It's a good location for walking to places, but you can't ski in because it's uphill. The stay was quite expensive, though everywhere is pricey during snow season. Those issues were minor for me. I had a great experience and would recommend it.

We arrived late on November 1, 2020, during the COVID restrictions, without a booking. The owners were more than welcoming, and the staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. My room was extremely clean, but small, with just enough space to walk beside the bed. I'd definitely stay here again.

For a solo stay, the value was excellent since I only had to pay for one person. The room was small but very comfortable and had everything I needed. Breakfast was included, which was a big plus, and there was a bar and restaurant available when I wanted them. The staff were excellent.

The hosts were really decent and helped us plan the trip. I loved the rustic feel of the lounge and sitting area. But the room was small, and the pool and sauna were out of order. There was no refund policy, so be sure of your plans before booking. It felt expensive to me, and if I'd known about the room earlier, I would've chosen somewhere cheaper. There's no parking in front of the hotel, so you have to park farther down. Good luck planning your trip! All in all, an average experience.
